Dear Spammers: We’re Not Your Shortcut to Easy Money
Every day like clockwork, someone signs up for MXroute with a domain that screams, “I’m here to make a quick buck and ruin someone’s inbox.” It’s always the same story: domains like get-something.ai
, trythisainow.com
, aiflowofnonsense.net
, all hooked up to some sketchy lead-gen funnel or repackaged “growth hack” SaaS. Bonus points if they’re piping their garbage through SparkPost to try to skate around our policies. Real subtle.
Let’s be clear: MXroute wasn’t built for this. Our service exists for people who care about email. People who run real businesses, build real communities, or just want to host their own mail without giving it all to Google. If your whole game is scraping addresses from Instagram bios and blasting out AI-generated sales pitches, we’re not the tool for you. We don’t want to be.
Some of you are probably here because some grifter is selling a course on “How to Make Your First $100K by 27 Using This One Weird Email Trick,” and that course name might as well be “How to Get Banned from MXroute in an Hour.”
Here’s the part you’ll want to screenshot:
If your domain is intentionally used to send spam from any platform, you don’t belong here.
We will continue terminating these accounts as they violate our policies (and they nearly always do). We’ll keep refining our filters, our blacklists, and stocking up on Red Bull. Every time you think you’ve found a clever way to game the system, we’ll shut the door tighter.
You can call that hostile if you want. We call it defending our customers from being associated with your spammy ass.
Real businesses are still welcome here. We’ll always have your back.
The rest of you? Go sell your dream somewhere else.
